Linking your Steam or Epic Games account is optional and won't affect gameplay. However, it provides an additional launch option and makes launching and updating more convenient.  (You will use the same account as the official website.)

1. Log in and click on "My Account" in the top right corner of the Path of Exile 2 website or on the left side of the Path of Exile 1 website to access your profile. Alternatively, click here to directly access your profile page.

2. Locate and click on "Path of Exile 2 Early Access."

3. Click here to obtain your Steam or Epic Games activation code.

4. Activate the code on your non-China region Steam or Epic Games account.  Accounts registered in China cannot be activated!

5. Once successfully linked, you can play Path of Exile 2 through both the official launcher and your Steam or Epic Games client.
